When you think about how your customers view your company, do you imagine you are making a good impression? The competitive storm that is your industry, your company has to be one that stands out among all the competition and is noticed. Are you hitting the right target market? Are you using all the tools at your disposal to bring customers to you?

Your marketing strategy should be so tight and so thought out, that your customers are begging you for more of what you can offer.   1. Focus on the solutions that you can offer people. Customers go online looking for solutions to their problems, whether that’s a new dress to go out in or the hunt for a web designer to help with their website. If you are offering a solution to a problem, then half the job is already done. When a product or service is in demand, people will come looking for you.
  2. Change things up on your company website. Your website is going to be the first thing that people look for, so it has to be eye-catching and tell people exactly what it is that you do. Why not change the standard colours and text for a video edited by National Audio Visual? By adding a video to your website of either a presentation about your company, or a ‘day in the life’ of someone in your company, you give yourself more personality?
  3. Take a good aim and hit your target market right in the face. Any marketing that doesn’t hit your target market is a waste of your time. It’s just junk mail through the door of people who aren’t looking for your services. You need to give your target market something to interest them and your marketing techniques are going to do that. People don’t tend to like fliers through the door anymore – marketing is mostly online and targeted to social media.
  4. Be extreme in your marketing efforts! If you’re running a blog or investing in solid content marketing, why not go a bit above and beyond with your headlines? Click-sexy titles like these that catch the eye and make people want to read about you will matter, even if it starts with ‘oi, you!’. People like shocking and shocking articles create a subject to talk about. This talk will bring people to you who are interested in what you have to say.

Marketing doesn’t have to be boring. It can be bright, visual and grab your customer’s attention like nothing else ever has. Invest in it, it could make the difference between success and failure.
