More steps to prospects!

Research show that people would like to accept information much better if they will received it not all in one time, but in few different times. What is that mean?

If you are going with your prospect on coffee and you are all fired up to explain your new business to him and you tell him everything you know about it. he will probably not join your business. But, if you gave them information in few different times or steps, than there is 50% more chance that he will accept your invitation in your business.

So, than how would look like your approach to your prospects for your Network Marketing business?

1. Invitation

Made an invitation to coffee and don’t talk to much about business. You have something important to talk about with that person and that is all what you have to say. Told them that you will talk with them on coffee.

2. Coffee

Here is important to find his needs. What he would like to have in the future. Talk with him to find where is his why to start a new business. Does he have a “why” to start a business? Don’t talk about your opportunity.When you define his why and you see that he/she is the person which would like to start a business. Than you promote open plan. I am sure that you have it in some hotels at least ones a week or ones in two weeks.

3. Open plan

You set a meeting half an hour earlier. Before Open plan starts. Why? To talk with that person before Open Plan, to introduce your sponsor, or upline. So, they can talk a little with your prospects. So, he can see that you have a team, that you are not alone. Than you two goes to the Open plan.

Now in this section he receives information two times. Before open plan and during the open plan.

4. After Open plan

Make agreement with your prospects that he stays on short drink after the open plan. On that time you and your sponsor and presenter should talk with your prospect to see which part he liked the most of business presentation. Don’t ask your prospects what he thinks. Because in that way you force him to choose, but it is not yet time for decision, not yet. Ask him which part of presentation he like the most. After that small talk give him brochure or sample product in his hands. Don’t let him go with empty hands home.
Before you sent him home. Made appointment for follow-up.

5. Follow up

Now is the time for decision. On this last step if you made all this steps before correct he will be ready to join your company. He will even came with credit card in his hands and ask where he can sign up.

We made six steps to the final decision. we didn’t do it over the phone in first conversation. we didn’t do it on the coffee. We gave to him information in steps and that is the most easiest way to have a new member in your Network Marketing business.

In yesterday post we talked about ego, how ego is bad and how ego can destroy ourNetwork marketing business. Today is nothing changed ego is still one of the main enemies of Network marketing business.

Since ego is part of us and we cannot move it from our self we can only try to control it. First we have to be aware of it and we have to know that ego exist and what he doing to us and our business.

So, like somebody said you have to be close with your friends, but closer with your enemy. Since in Network marketing ego is our enemy we have to close with ego and use it for our own good.

Is it crazy? 

How to use ego in our own good? Hrvoje are you crazy?

No, I am not, here I will show you one nice way how to use ego for growing your Network Marketing business. One thing is for sure people who will join your network marketing business will be ego driven people. There it will be maybe more or maybe less, but there will it be people like that.

How they act and work. They want to be better than others, they want to have best rank, they want to compete all the time. What is good. We have to create such environment for them.

Kick them out

When you attend trainings offline or online set a training for let say 7pm for everybody, after 45 min of training you kick out guys with beginning rank and said that now starts training for guys who have higher rank with some real information’s. You can also after 30 minutes of that training kick out the middle rank people from the room and said that now is training for leaders with high rank. And when they will become leaders with that rank then they can attend this meeting.

Do you know what will happen to their ego when they will be kicked out from the meeting. They will try to explode in them self, they will felt a little bad. But trust me, next time on the next meeting they will have higher rank. You cannot do it every week, but once per month you can.

People with big ego will for sure be on level up for that next meeting. What is very important for you to do when you will have such a bg ego guys in your group. Is to teach about ego and how to lower it down. They must be aware of their ego, how it works, what can done to their business and to yours also before they destroy it.

So it is like kids playing with fire. They are not aware how fire is dangerous until they burn the house or somebody teach them that fire is very dangerous.
Now think about how you can use probably the biggest enemy of Network marketing our ego.

5 ways to recognize your ego killing your business.
Our ego is one nasty little prick which like to destroy us in any way. Special in Network Marketing business. Here is the 5 ways how to recognized it and then to shut it down. If you can, lot of people cannot do it.
I know that you will do it. Because you have a goal and you want to be successful in your MLM business.

1. You are always right?

If no body smarter than you and you have to be always right. Than your ego doing a great job on you and your business. One thing is for sure, you cannot be always right and you cannot know everything. There is no way to know everything. If you like to arguing on every subject than you are in real problem. Let other people to be right also, you will not lose anything. You will only gain something. We are in people business, we have to know how to work with people and control our self. In Network Marketing regarding that we have a nice question. Do you want to be right or rich?

2. You have to do it everything in your way?

I know that most of you like that song from Frank Sinatra: “I did it my way”. Song is maybe good but your ego love that song even more that you do. If you always want to do it in your way than you will have a lot of problems with your MLM business. Why? Because you will not duplicate from your upline something what is proven that works. You will try to find your way to satisfied your ego. What will happen next you will not have any MLM business. Even your few downlines will drop out of business. After that your ego will blame your uplines, company, products and whole MLM industry.
You will said that MLM don’t works. With big ego don’t work. Just like it you cannot  fill gasoline in you car if you do not the pipe in. If you try to do it on some other “your” way it will not work.

3. Take all the credits for your self?
If you are guy which take all the credits for your self. Then you are ego driven guy. In Network Marketing business people make a result for a one guy. it is not possible to make MLM business by your self alone. It is not a house or software or anything else what you can do alone. To have a good rank in your company you must have lot of downlines and they have to buy something, they have sign up somebody. So, if you will take credits for your self than your business will go down it is only matter of time. But your ego will love it a lot. You must know that you will never feed your ego it will be always hungry.

4. Do you talk about your self all the time?
We have a lot of different people on this globe. Some tells such a good stories that everybody enjoy it. But there is some people who talk only about them self. If you are like that, if you have “I” on every second spoken word. Than your business is in real trouble. If you focused only on your self and nothing on others Network marketing will be a real trouble for you. Because people would like to be around caring and nice people who not only thinks about them self. If you will talk only about your self than you will never had a big group of downlines. Watch for that and turn your self more to the other people.

5. Are you jealous when somebody doing great?

If you are jealous when somebody is good than your ego is pretty big. Instead of being jealous it is better to learn from people who are doing great. Low your ego on that and you will gain a lot. There will always be people who is better than you in something. If that will trouble you, you will never learn and be better. With that technique ego will keep you always on same level. You cannot learn from people who are worse than you. You can learn only from those who are better than you.

Ego is killer of your MLM business and your great life. If you want to have a great life you have to lower your ego. Put it in the pocket and enjoyed in your life-like you deserve it.

Let’s go little on the old fashion way of doing Network marketing which today also work great. I am saying old fashion because now we have a new ways over the internet. But people didn’t change and Network marketing is people business.
Long time ago before internet we all have daily meetings at home. Every day in some other home, that is why this business is called home business.

One of the most important thing is good preparation of presentation. If you don’t do it in right way, you will have only problems in the future. Here is 5 ways how to prepare a good presentation at home.

1.Invitation of your friends

When you call your friends you must tell them that you are calling them to your home to see a business opportunity. Don’t made a big mistake a call them on coffee or dinner and then instead of dinner you gave them room full of people and presentation of MLM business. They will be surprised in negative way. So, they can ruin your presentation. Tell them that you have a business opportunity presentation at home with a good products that they might like. That’s it. No explanation of any kind. They will see it when they will com to your house.

2.What to prepare, coffee or dinner?

I know that you would like that your friends feel good and happy in your home. But, never, please never made any dinner for them when it is the presentation of business. Here is few reasons for that.

– If they will eat during the presentation, they will not watch and listen presentation.
– If they will go to dinner to kitchen after the presentation, they will lose focus on the business  and have focus on dinner.
– If they will eat before presentation it will be hard to get them of the kitchen table. Later on they will be sleepy and will not listen.

The only thing what you have to prepare is coffee and to have some juices or water. This is the only thing. Nothing else! Don’t even think about to offer them alcohol drink. Than it will be total disaster. What you need is their focus on the business and products. You can click here to learn about orangina drink and serve it to them.
Think about the duplication. If you prepare fantastic dinner your friend prospects might think that they have to also do presentation like this. Maybe they don’t like the idea to cook for 10 people or maybe that is expensive for them and they will join the business because of that.

3. Prepare your room and your self

Prepare your room before guests arrive to your house don’t do it when they are there. Everything has to be set up when they come to your house. Table, chairs, everything. Turn of the television and turn of all other distractions like mobile phone and all that. Prepare your self. This is a business meeting. You cannot be dressed like you will go to bed in ten minutes. Dress like you are going out on a meeting. It doesn’t matter you are at home put your shoes on also. Because when people will come and you have shoes they will not feel bad if they have it your home. Act and do like professional and they will do it the same in the future.

4. Who will made presentation?

Ask your sponsor to help you with presentation. I mean you can also do it, but your friends will be more engaged if they will listen somebody else. Somebody they don’t know. Than they will have even more respect to you also and they will not interrupt the presentation. So, ask your sponsor or upline to do it.
You will be the person who will present to them you sponsor or upline. You must give the power to him before the presentation. Before he starts, you have to said how your sponsor helping you to have a better business, how he is expert in his field and he knows the business excellent. That you have to said if you want that your friend listen to him/her. They must know that he is expert in that business. If you say that some guy will made presentation, nobody will listen to him.

5. After the presentation

When your sponsor is finished with presentation. He is the one who have to answer the questions. What you have to do is SHUT UP! Why? In the beginning you said how your sponsor is expert, how he help you and how he is great and now you don’t gave him a word to talk. All you have to do after the presentation is to be silent. Power for talking have the presenter, because he showed with his presentation that he know what he talking about. He will show them the products, all you have to said and showed them that you are using the products and they are great. At the end just take care that they go home with some material and made appointment for follow-up.

Here is now thing that I learned long time ago. That is simple words: “When you learn something new use it now, don’t wait.” So, if you want to be an excellent Network marketer than When you learn something, you will use it immediately.

Now, I will show you what learned not so long ago. That is one thing which everybody should do it. It is concept which is called ILT. Or Invest, Learn Teach. I learned this concept from Ray Higdon who already is legend of online marketing and Network marketing.

We will go here with all process how and why to do it.

1. Invest

You can find free stuff here and there that is really good. Sure on this blog you can find also great free stuff, but those things what you pay. This things are really fantastic. Not, always and not from everybody. Suggest you that you find a teacher who is ok for you and you like his teaching and style. Or you found some great program. Than invest in it. All great business leaders similar to Andrew Defrancesco invest their money and time in new learning. Why? How can you be a leader if everybody before you knows the new things? There is no way. You have to invest and show others how to do it. That is what leaders do and I am sure that you are a leader. Leaders invest in them self, you are the biggest asset.

I always check Wisdom Fuel for reviews before I pay for any online course.

2. Learn

Now when you invest the money, now you have to learn. It is pretty stupid to invest in some course and then not using it. It is the same as you throw the money trough the window. What is not smart thing to do. When you invest, than learn it. If you need to repeat it 10 times do it. If you have problems with learning or maybe you have dyslexia. Dyslexia is disease when you have big problems with learning. If you have that. The best way to learn this thing is to start teaching others. Check out this review of the best learning platforms.

3. Teach

So, now you already invest and learned, or you didn’t learn, but invest. Anyway now is time for teaching. Don’t be afraid to teach others. You don’t have to be perfect expert to be a good teacher. Some best coaches was never the best players. Also some best player was never a good coaches. That you can see in sports, business, everywhere. You don’t have to be the best in that what you teach, but you have to be good in teaching. How will you be good in teaching? Simple! start teaching others what you learned.

Of course don’t be copy cat from word to word. Add little of your personality inside and you will be great. Just like I learned ILT and now teaching it. The same thing you can do it on your next webinar. You can teach this concept, so that your down lines use the same principe to work with their people. In Network marketing is important to have an excellent duplication. Duplicate your self with ILT concept.

In this way you can start to be authority in your Network marketing business. Don’t be afraid to repeat what you learned. It is important to repeat it. Become authority in that what you do and your business will go sky-high. Just use the concept INVEST, LEARN and TEACH.

Something what stopping people for making success in life is failing. Maybe better to say fear of failing or Fear of rejecting. I don’t know when we pick up this feature? Probably in the hospital when those guys in white take us away from safe place after we were born.

Anyway this is one of the greatest fear. This fear holds us back also in Network Marketing. lot of people when they join to some MLM go and talk with few friends and after that quit. Those guys reject them and they never try such a stupid thing again. So, that hold them back in the office or any other job. Simple their fear of failing and rejecting blocking them to go on with MLM.

Successful people do exactly opposite. Today’s great business Teacher Robert Kiyosaki says if you want to be good businessman you have to learn to sell, that means you have gone and knock on doors. In other words that means you have to fail a lot of time.

Also another authority in Leadership John C. Maxwell wrote a book which is called: “Failing forward” which explains that when you fail is very good. You see most of the people thinks that failure is bad thing if it happens to you. I agree with those two excellent gentleman’s.

Another book which John Maxwell was wrote is: “Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn“. It is easy to understand what the name of the book means. You cannot fail if you learn. If you fail and learn something than it is not a failure, than it is a great thing. You are much smarter than before.

btw. Did you know that this name of the book “Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn” Kiyosaki gave that to Maxwell. When I was on John Maxwell seminar he told us that when he was on dinner with Kiyosaki he said that to Maxwell and then Maxwell named his book with same words. So, even the biggest one’s use ILT or Invest, Learn and Teach. Well, in that case Maxwell invested probably only in dinner.

Here is one more advantage for GetResponse. That is easily creation of landing pages. In GetResponse you can very easily creat landing page however you want. Without any technical knowledge.
For what do you use landing page? Well, landing page is much more effective than just a website page for opt in. Aweber has also landing pages but they are very complicated to made it and customize it. Maybe you would even used third-party to made you great landing page and that you would probably have to pay.

Do you really want to be a Leader?

Here is five things that leaders in Network Marketing do, what makes them leaders. This five things is let say basics.

 

 

 

1. First to come, last to leave
Leaders are always first. So, when you have meetings you came first and stay the longest. Leave last. Sometimes that is not easy, but that’s the way leaders do. They are first there, prepare everything what is needed. Take care that everything is ok and later when everything is finished they are there until last one leaves.

2. Leaders don’t wait for no one.
I don’t mean that you don’t wait somebody who is late. I mean by that you take the action first. Dont wait for no one for the new things to try it. No, ladies. I don’t mean that you have to try new shoes or make up same day when they came to stores.
I mean in a business sence.
New strategy? You are first who will try it and show it to others. That is leadership. You cannot be a leader if you everything do last. Do it and show to others, that is leading. That is the difference from leaders and managers. Managers tell others what to do and don’t do it by them self. Leaders do it and show others how to do it.

3. Learn from others
To be leader is different from to be a boss. If you want to be leader don’t act like you are the boss who knows everything. I mean at least those bosses acting like know everything. That is why they are bad leaders. No body knows everything and if you think that you must know everything to be a leader, that is not the case. No body likes smartass people who knows everything on every topic. No body follows guys who are trying to be smart. Be a student in topic you don’t know.

4. Complement people
This is tough one. If you want to be a leader, give credit to others. I know that lot of people have a problem with that. But, you have to lower your ego and give credit to others. Why to do that, when you are main man and responsible for good job? Well, the truth is that you didn’t do nothing alone. Special in Network Marketing. So, you cannot take credit to your self. Other thing is that you need people who is motivated, so if they did only a little give them a credit like they did all. They would feel great and they will always do it the best they can’t. If you give credit only to yourself than those who help you, next time will not help you.
Than you will see how it looks like when you have to do it by your self.
At the end of the day. To give credit to others it don’t cost you anything. It is free. Only your ego would suffer, but let him suffer he is the one which stopping your progress.

5. Be there always
This one is very simple on the paper. In reality it is not so simple. I know that sometimes you don’t like to go, that you are tired, that you would do something else. Lets say you have the open plan in hotel every week. You have to be there every week.

I know that you heard that plan hundred times already and you know it, but be there. If you want to be a leader be there every time. It is good for you to learn it, because you are the next one who will do that plan. Take a look at the point 3. And 2. Learn and do it by your self.
Think about the duplication. In network Marketing everything duplicates. So, this duplicates also. If you will be there your people will be there every times. Than their people will be there every time.
In Network Marketing you have to be leader and you have to make leaders in your downline. I think you got the picture.

I know that you are Network Marketer. You joined a nice company with a nice products and now you have lot’s of things to do. You are smart guy and you understand that the most important thing is Personal growth.

You like that idea and you start buying books, seminars and everything else. But I know that you have a job which takes you a lot of time. Your boss don’t like worker who brings news papers or books to work. Who would like such a workers. So, you have to work hard on your job and don’t have time to learn about your new business which bring you freedom.

Well, you are lucky, because you are on my blog post which will give you a lot of time for learning. Here you can find four ways how to learn without loosing extra time.

 

• Audio in car

How much of your time do you drive in the car during the week. But, if you are going to work every day and going back. You must be in the car at least 40 minutes every  day. Everybody today have CD player and most probably USB player in their car. What you have to do is buy seminar or course on CD and listen in your car while you are driving. Don’t worry if you listen one CD twice or more time. To be full effective with your listening, research aid that you have to listen your course minimum 16 times to take the full message in your head. So, while you driving around you will not loose extra time and you will learn.

 

• Book in toilet

Somebody said it is stupid. Maybe it is, but when you are on toilet you cannot do something else, and thats for sure that you will be on toilet every day at least once, or maybe even more. In any case, if you don’t go to toilet every day than for sure you have to go to doctor. Anyway ,if you have a book in toilet than you can read and not loosing time.

 

• Download Kindle from Amazon

I know that some of you would say on the book in toilet that you can have it only when you are home. But I have a perfect news for you. You can download from Amazon free software which is called Kindle. That software you can download on any smart phone. You can download it from App store or google play it is free. Than you have to buy a book. Books for Kindle is little cheaper than paperback books and you can have them in one minute on-screen of your smart phone.
With this tool you can learn everywhere and anywhere. If you stuck somewhere or wait for somebody. You always have our book with you. If you have your smart phone you have a book with you. That means that you can learn and not loosing your time anymore.

 

• Audio Books

You can also buy audio book and listen it on your smart phone. You can also download software Audible on your smartphone and always listen for a book. That means if you are on any training, running or walking you can always listen and not loosing time for that purpose only. Well day have only 24 hours and it is not enough for all the things what we have to do. That’s why you have to use all the time when you doing something what you must done and in the same time you can learn.

One thing is very, very important in Network Marketing and that one thing is called Integrity. MLM business is a Leadership business. So, to lead people successful you must have Integrity.

What Integrity is? Here is what Wikipedia says that Integrity is:

Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. It is generally a personal choice to uphold oneself to consistent moral and ethical standards.^[1]

In ethics, integrity is regarded by many people as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one’s actions. Integrity can stand in opposition to hypocrisy,^[2] in that judging with the standards of integrity involves regarding internal consistency as a virtue, and suggests that parties holding within themselves apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or alter their beliefs.

The word integrity evolved from the Latin adjective integer, meaning whole or complete.^[3] In this context, integrity is the inner sense of “wholeness” deriving from qualities such as honesty and consistency of character. As such, one may judge that others “have integrity” to the extent that they act according to the values, beliefs and principles they claim to hold.

A value system’s abstraction depth and range of applicable interaction may also function as significant factors in identifying integrity due to their congruence or lack of congruence with observation. A value system may evolve in a while,^[4] while retaining integrity if those who espouse the values account for and resolve inconsistencies.^[5]

In Network Marketing your business is you! If you don’t have Integrity you will never have big business. In classic business maybe you can make some money without Integrity, maybe you can cheat somebody for big money and be asshole who cannot look at your self in the mirror. In classic business you can do that, but in Network Marketing there is no way.

That is one of the reasons why people who don’t have Integrity don’t have big success in MLM.

You see in classic business if you cheat someone, few people will know about it, but if you do it in Network Marketing it will go x 100. Everybody will know about it. Your downlines, uplines, cross lines, everybody. Than your business is in big problems. If you want to make big or small cheats don’t join to Network Marketing it will not work for you.

What is also part of Integrity. One very specific thing which shows up all the time. I know that working with people can make special connections, it can made that you fall in love in your downlines, uplines or even cross lines.

It is no special problem if you to both are single, but if you fall in love in person who is married, or you are married and then you chasing your downlines than you are without any Integrity. It is the same like you shit in the plate where you eat. Sorry for a bad language, but that’s the way it is.

If you want to have big and stable business, you must have Integrity. You have to be a role model for everybody else. That is the Leadership and that is duplication. If you will have fun with your downlines, your downlines will do the same. Than you not have your business anymore.

So, Network Marketing is not like the “Wolf from the Wall Street” it is the opposite. If you want to have stable business. You have to be a Leader with balanced set of values and with complete Integrity.
